Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the MAXXIS Assegai tire tire takes its name from a spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. It's the perfect weapon for fighting mountains.
It features high studs for great traction and support on dry and wet terrain, as well as root and rocky terrain. The soft 3C Maxx grip rubber is ideal for extreme conditions, for maximum grip and minimum rebound.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tire is also equipped with a reinforced DH casing to withstand the most arduous descents.
