Description
La Pair of SRAM brakes CODE R brakes offer super-powerful braking, making them ideal for serious mountain biking! They're also ideal for electric-assist mountain bikes, whose heavier weight requires a super-efficient braking system.
Designed in forged aluminum, the Code R's caliper houses 4 oversized pistons, even larger than those on the Guide. It benefits from Heat Shield technology, which reduces heat transfer from the pad to its body during braking, for ever more effective high-temperature management. The caliper is also compatible with the Bleeding Edge kit, which facilitates hydraulic bleeding operations.
The Matchmaker X-compatible lever features a tool-free adjustable lever guard. Above all, it features the Swing Link which helps eliminate the dead zone of braking while preserving dosage, for a precise, powerful yet progressive feel.
