Designed to meet the demands placed on the rear wheel and perfectly suited to mixed soils, both dry and wet, the tire MTB PIRELLI Scorpion R provides excellent grip. It is presented here in its 29X2.40 Tubeless Ready version, ideal forEnduro and All Mountain !

For even greater performance, the Le R benefits from an anti-tear and puncture material and SmartGRIP Compound technology. Developed and tested on racetracks the world over, this construction offers incredible grip, durability and fluidity in all conditions.

The sidewalls receive an additional 120tpi ripstop coating, for effective protection without compromising performance. The Scorpion R's robust 60tpi nylon carcass has been specially developed for a more stable ride at low pressures, a larger footprint and better vibration absorption.

Also designed for dry and wet surfaces, the tread features closely spaced low ribs. This design enhances fluidity, while guaranteeing excellent roadholding by limiting deformation when cornering.

The tire's profile is also optimized to fit modern aluminum and carbon wheels with a wide internal channel.
