The POC Axion Race Mips MTB helmet mountain bike helmet has everything it takes to satisfy the most demanding Trail and Enduro riders. It takes the wrap-around Jet design of the Tectal and adds the Mips Integra protection system.
This Mips Integra technology protects your brain in the event of a fall causing rotational force on your helmet, without affecting comfort. The aim is to limit the transmission of impact forces to the brain, to guard against the risk of concussion.
Highly reassuring, this helmet is built around a monocoque combining a polycarbonate outer shell and a layer of expanded polystyrene for effective shock absorption. The shell is wraparound to provide extensive coverage around the temples and the back of the head.
The Axion Race Mips helmet also promises great comfort on the bike: it features channels that manage air flow to keep you cool in all kinds of conditions.
Other advantages of the POC Axion Race Mips helmet include an ultra-precise 360° adjustment system with thumbwheel, and a visor that can be adjusted and disengaged in the event of a fall to reduce the forces transmitted to the neck.
