The POC Ventral Air Mips road helmet is built around a lightweight shell, combined with a layer of variable-density expanded polystyrene (EPS), reinforced at the points most exposed in the event of a fall.

Extremely ventilated, it optimizes airflow inside the helmet, based on the principles of the Venturi effect. It improves aerodynamics by accelerating airflow through openings, and also enhances rider comfort by regulating the temperature under the helmet. At the rear, the trailing edge has also been precisely designed to prevent air from swirling around it. 

The thumbwheel adjustment system, the eyeglass mountings and the straps molded into the structure of the shell are other design details that contribute to the quality of this helmet.
