With a view to taking single-platform drivetrains one step further, SRAM offers the SRAM Eagle SX X-Sync2 DUB 32-tooth MTB crankset. Adopting the principle of its top-of-the-range XX1 and X01 groupsets while still being suitable for a tight budget, the use of less noble materials for this entry-level version makes the 1x12-speed drivetrain even more accessible.
The SX Eagle crankset combines an aluminum axle for lightness and rigidity, with a 32-tooth X-Sync 2 single chainring whose profile produces faster chain engagement, prevents derailment and delivers smoother, more efficient pedaling. The design also features cavities to facilitate the evacuation of dirt, such as mud and gravel.
