SRAM RED E-TAP AXS 2X HRD Power Package

With the Red e-Tap AXS HRD groupthe American manufacturer SRAM has taken electric drivetrain technology a step further. This version features the HRD hydraulic disc brake system.

Thanks to the new AXS integration platform, you can now monitor battery status, program alerts for maintenance and updates, as well as modify component behavior and customize their control. And all from your smartphone, directly via the AXS app!

Lighter, stiffer and more resistant, the components benefit from a new carbon fiber architecture. The groupset features a Red eTap AXS front derailleur for fast, precise chainring changes. Its streamlined shape increases clearance for the installation of wider tires, ideal for gravel!

The AXS rear derailleur is compatible with single or double chainrings. No matter what the terrain, its more efficient motor, X-Sync pulleys and ceramic bearings ensure fast, totally silent sprocket changes. Orbit technology also ensures a silent ride, by limiting chain bounce. The derailleur is also compatible with existing eTap batteries. 

The Centerline XR Rotor 160 and 140 mm hydraulic disc brakes, specially designed for road use, are equally quiet. Rounded edges facilitate wheel installation and comply with UCI standards. They are combined with ergonomic e-Tap HRD levers and shifters for ultra-precise and rapid gear changes, and ever more efficient braking. The HydroHC system used here offers excellent control, with adjustable levers (for clearance and contact point), and calipers designed for optimum heat management. Finally, on-board Bleeding Edge technology facilitates bleeding.
