Restrap – A British, family-run bike bag manufacturer

Restrap was founded in 2010 in Yorkshire by Nathan Hughes, a cyclist who simply needed straps for his pedals. No sooner thought than done! Armed with a small sewing machine, Nathan set about designing and making his first straps. Delighted with the result and motivated by his ambition to help other cyclists, he then decided to diversify into developing a full range of frame bags, saddle bags, handlebar bags, all kinds of luggage and accessories for bikepacking. The fruit of years of success and evolution, Restrap currently occupies a large workshop in Leeds and has become a close-knit family of sewing machinists, designers and friends.

Every product in the range is conceived, developed and hand-sewn on site, directly in their workshops in Leeds, United Kingdom. Nothing has changed in the manufacturing process since the company's early days. Indeed, Restrap continues to invest to this day in top-of-the-range sewing machines to ensure artisanal production, using sustainable materials and making the most of all the expertise of its local workforce.
