The telescopic saddle stems available on the market have different possibilities for saddle height settings. The length and the race (displacement of the saddle down) of the telescopic saddle rods vary as follows: for a rod of 300 mm a race of 75 mm, for a rod of 350 mm a race of 100 mm, for 385 mm or 400 mm long 125 mm racing and for 420 mm long 150 mm of running. The choice of the right telescopic seatpost for your mountain bike must also take into account its diameter, of which there are several standards: 27.2 mm, 30.9 mm, 31.6 mm and 34.9 mm. The mountain bike rod of your choice must be compatible with the dimensions of your frame!
