In 2000, Max Commençal left Sunn, which he had created, to embark on a new adventure. He headed for Andorra, where, unknowingly, the MOUNTAIN BIKE was about to experience a period of great innovation with machines bearing the Commençal name. From the very first year, the brand made a name for itself with the Supernormal. It immediately won the title of Mountain Bike of the Year, awarded by Vélo Vert magazine...

Since then, Commençal has always surrounded itself with the best mountain bikers: world downhill champions like Anne-Caroline Chausson and Cédric Gracia; Olympic cross-country champion Miguel Martinez; and Remy Absalon, three-time winner of the Alpes-d'Huez Megavalanche.
