Have you just received your child's new balance bike? Here's how to assemble it.
- Time: 10 min
- Level: Easy
- Tools: Cutter | 5 mm Allen Key
Steps
- Check the condition of the box and then open it.
- If applicable, fit the wheels onto the fork and frame.
- Proceed with fitting the handlebar. To do so, identify the direction of rotation of the wheel to ensure the fork is in the correct position.
Probikeshop Tip: The direction of rotation of the wheel is indicated by the arrow on the tyre.
- Insert the plastic spacer into the fork, making sure the opening of the ring aligns with that of the fork.
- Fit the locking ring and the protective cover.
- Finalise the fork installation by ensuring the fork opening aligns correctly with the clamp opening. Tighten firmly but without excess using a 5 mm Allen key.
Probikeshop Tip: Make sure the handlebar is properly centred relative to the fork.
- The handlebar is now installed. All that remains is to adjust the saddle height. Using a 5 mm Allen key, loosen the clamp and adjust the saddle to the ideal height for the child, again taking care not to exceed the maximum height. Tighten firmly but without excess.
The balance bike assembly is now complete!
