The Campagnolo EPS drivetrain is an organic assembly of mechanical and electronic components that work together in an integrated fashion to guarantee maximum performance. In particular, the EPS front derailleur interacts with the mechanical crankset and enhances the high shifting speed and precision made possible by X.P.S.S. technology. The 8 climbing zones and 2 special descending zones of the Chainrings combined with the speed and precision of the new EPS front derailleur guarantee first-rate performance.

Technologies :

- Auto Correction: Compared to the traditional mechanical front derailleur, which could be adjusted with micro-shifts performed by manually acting on the levers, the EPS front derailleur is equipped with an electronic system for auto-correction. AUTOMATIC POSITION CORRECTION system. The DTI (Digital Tech Intelligence) receives control impulses via the interface and dialogues with the sensor inside the front derailleur, which indicates its position at all times. Depending on the sprocket selected via the controls, the EPS reposition the front derailleur to optimize its position in relation to the chain. This allows for chain crossings that would not be optimal with conventional systems. It performs 2 corrections for both uphill and downhill shifting.

- DTI : The DTI, Digital Tech Intelligenceis located inside the Power Unit and constantly monitors the signals coming from all EPS components, managing their operation.
The main functions of the DTI are:
- control and manage the battery pack
- operate and control the rear and front derailleurs
- indicate any anomalies via rgb LED
- dialogue with interface
- activate buzzer

- Water Proof :Campagnolo EPS electronic drivetrain complies with international standards IP67.

This means that the system is able to protect its electronic components from dust and liquid ingress.

To achieve the IP67 rating, all the EPS system's electronic components were subjected to a series of tests that demonstrated their optimum functionality up to one meter under water, for at least 30 minutes.
