As the name suggests, the CASTELLI Superleggera Bib Short bib shorts are incredibly lightweight, but also exceptionally breathable and moisture-wicking, making them perfect for hot days and long climbs in the blazing sun.

Specifically, these shorts are made from ultra-fine fabric, with a density of just 90 g/m² compared to the usual 220 g/m², yet strong enough to resist abrasion from rubbing against the saddle, with decent durability, and of course without being transparent. As well as being extremely lightweight, this fabric wicks away 30% more sweat than conventional materials, ensuring that you stay dry in all conditions. The shoulder straps, which use a minimum of material, are made of lightweight, highly breathable mesh fabric.

These Superleggera bib shorts feature Progetto X² Air, the most comfortable skin designed by the Italian brand. It uses a seamless, ultra-breathable, highly elastic and bacteriostatic microfiber top layer, variable-density and variable-thickness foam padding, and viscous pads under the ischium and perineum that offer added comfort in these sensitive areas.
