Drawing on its know-how and long-standing expertise in crankset design and manufacturing, FSA naturally chose this component to develop the Powerbox MTB CarbonitsPower Meter.
The heart of this FSA Powerbox sensor is based on Power2Max technology, which measures power output and cadence with high precision (+/-2%) via an internal accelerometer. Located inside the crankset, the sensor is water-resistant, even in the heaviest downpours, and insensitive to temperature variations. Data is then transmitted to your computer/GPS via ANT+ protocol.
With the purchase of an optional kit, this sensor can display the balance between left and right leg, and communicate directly with your Smartphone via Bluetooth Smart protocol.
In this version, the crankset is designed around carbon cranks - for optimum rigidity and lightness - complemented by a forged 7050 aluminum BB392Evo 30 mm axle and Chainrings in 7075 aluminum.
It is offered here in a mono version with a Chainring of 32 teeth.
