It is a variation of the Re-Fuse tire for the Road, tire, from which it takes on most of its features, such as the knurled, grooved surface, which ensures good grip in all conditions, while preserving rolling performance. It also incorporates MaxxShield puncture protection, which combines a SilkShield bead-to-bead casing with K2 Kevlar reinforcement under the tread.

It uses Dual Compound rubber, with a hard compound on the tread to ensure performance, and a softer one on the sidewalls to improve cornering grip.
