Reviews

I like these Fulcrum Wind 40 carbon wheels.

"I like these Fulcrum Wind 40 carbon wheels with their reasonable 40mm profile in the wind, and they provide a sense of security thanks to their solidity and ease of repair in the event of a flat tire with tube when you're away from home. The only problem I've had in the past was a spoke that gave out on the Ventoux climb, which was changed at the factory. For the time being, my bike is mounted on pads, and I'll appreciate the disc mount for watery descents in the future. I took advantage of the reasonably priced Campagnolo body version available from ProBikeShop. Payment in installments with PayPal and top-notch delivery as usual."

Beautiful wheels!

"Very happy with my purchase. I haven't put a lot of miles on it yet, but it already feels good."

Tafi33 (5/5)

Ideal for starting out with carbon wheels

"Fully meets my expectations to pass a milestone and facilitate rolling at 30km For first carbon wheels the price is ideal Nickel delivery"

Kinou91 (5/5)

Affordable carbon

"Good quality wheels. I had aluminum before! It's a good choice to try carbon when you're poor."

Gto (5/5)

Top

"Very good wheels, same bearings as on the racing 4s. Adjust the rear bearing play relatively quickly after a few km... if done correctly, they have very good rigidity. I've already done a few races with them and the spoking doesn't move. On the other hand, as with the R4s, the freewheel body is low-end and will probably need changing if you ride too often in the rain. The weight without blocks is 1.5 kg all told."

Superb wheels

"Great wheels a good responsiveness and nice inertia once past 30-32 km/h. Top braking with the ac3 band and campa pads supplied. Can't wait to do more km with it"

Arthur84 (5/5)

superb wheels and very good quality

"really THE versatile wheelset of the moment, incredible feeling of speed, once launched, they roll all by themselves, quality hubs and very light"

Theclowny (5/5)

Top wheels

"Very good value for money, before I had low profile wheels (average quality), now it's a total change, stiffer (so less comfortable), better acceleration, it's easier to maintain a speed above 30, I drive about 150kms/week."

Freddy (4/5)

Great product!!!! Don't hesitate any longer.

"Tested for around 600 kilometers, the rims more than convinced me. They're mounted on a BTWIN 900 CF. Quite simply, I feel like I've changed bikes. Living in Martinique, the terrain is rather hilly. Flat and bumps of 5/6km between 7 and 10/100. They go everywhere. Very comfortable on the flat at over 30/35 km/h, the bike is ultra-easy to ride. In the bumps, they also perform very well, with no slippage whatsoever. The brakes are very powerful, even in the wet. In short, they're simply brilliant, with impressive value for money. Probikeshop service is top-notch. Please note, however, that for residents of French overseas departments, prices are shown exclusive of tax! Remember to add VAT".

Very good wheels

"Rather stiff wheels (rub the pads in a dancer?!?). The Fulcrum hub is very fluid indeed. Wheels that love to be revved up, a joy above 32-33 km/h!"
