Perfect

"Perfect. Fast shipping. Fits the bike's housing perfectly."

XTR with minimal supplies?

"As expected, there was no TL-FC24 adapter for installation... Nor was there a paper manual: just a QR code that simply redirects you to the Shimano website (which is handy when you have a smartphone and your hands are covered in grease). The bottom bracket shell is too narrow for my crankset (TRUVATIV FIREX 3.3 GXP crankset): according to the SM-BB93 manual, there are spacers to adjust the width, but the part numbers are unknown and therefore cannot be ordered (they could have been included with the bottom bracket!!). Luckily, I have a 3D printer! In short, I still get the strong impression that Shimano is cutting corners on every penny in this bottom bracket package—and too bad for customer satisfaction!"

good product

"The product meets expectations and is well-made; we'll have to see how it holds up over time"

Good case, to be mounted with the TL-FC24 adapter

"I installed it this weekend; it seems to be good quality—at any rate, it's lightweight. However, it’s really a shame that Probikeshop doesn’t mention that this model needs to be installed with the TL-FC24 adapter in addition to the Shimano TL-FC36 wrench, because the diameter of the clamp ring on this model is smaller than on other Shimano models. Personally, I wasn’t caught off guard because I had checked various forums, etc. So I’m deducting one star for the lack of information in the product description."

Missing adapter

"It's about time you put yourselves in the customers' shoes. Paying 5 euros for shipping just to make sure I have the bottom bracket to ride this weekend, only to end up not receiving the adapter needed to install it—that's shameful. Of course, I won’t be returning the product because the process would keep me from riding for another week. I had to run around all morning trying to find the right adapter for this bottom bracket. I’ve never had any problems with ProBikeShop before, so I’m really disappointed. Put yourselves in the shoes of serious athletes who train regularly. As for the bottom bracket, it hasn’t been tested long enough for me to form an opinion on it. P.S.: I’m clearly not the only one in this situation; similar issues have been reported on competing sites. Maybe the problem comes directly from Shimano... In any case, check the products!!!"

Replacing an FSA bottom bracket

Laulo65 (5/5)

Very good product

"What's great about unboxing it is that the adapter for installation is included, along with the washers. Installation is easy. I've tested it on three XC rides, and so far, it's been working perfectly."

"What can I say? It's XTR, so it's RELIABLE—a replacement for my XT shifter."
