Reviews

I recommend this equipment, which makes dismantling

"Very useful and easy to use bottom bracket disassembler".

Nonobobo (5/5)

Good value for money.

"Works well.... even if it sometimes ripples a bit if you don't keep good pressure on it.... ."

Gicidi (4/5)

A must for Shimano gearboxes

"When you regularly repair bikes, this tool is indispensable for disassembling bottom brackets, with Shimano footprints (most common on VTC and city bikes)."

Dehel61 (5/5)

Well-made

"Used to take out a recalcitrant box and ok!"

Tmes (5/5)

Too long, so difficult to disassemble.

"Too long, so when you use a wrench to turn with force, you're so far away from the bottom bracket that it's difficult to grip, and you have to hold the bushing very tightly against the bike to prevent it from shriveling. A horror for efficient work. So I had to buy a smaller one so that the wrench could be closer to the bike, giving me a better grip and preventing the socket from ripping. I strongly advise against using this bottom bracket dismounting sleeve and buying a smaller one in length, even if it would cost more."

Morad25 (1/5)

Made the Job

"Fulfilled the Job, even if I had to squeeze it with a clamp to prevent it from dislodging when forcing to unscrew the bottom bracket (without going the wrong way). Solid part. Replaces the original Shimano part not available on the site at the time of my order."

Superpapipou (5/5)

VAR crankset disassembler

"Does the job OK finish without more. The paint is not desirable but quite resistant."

B3rtrandty (4/5)

Assembles and disassembles housings

"sometimes difficult to hang the bottom bracket, because does not fit easily (maybe paint layer too thick?), otherwise does its job. ..."

Transalp (3/5)

Efficient

"Allows you to disassemble a bottom bracket on RR 5. 3 quite easily. Be careful not to slip when retightening, requires you to press quite hard as the teeth tend to slip a little."

Achab78 (4/5)

Good buy

"Good, sturdy, well-made and easy-to-use socket".
