How to assemble a complete road bike?
Your new road bike has just been delivered, and you can't wait to see how it performs on your favorite trails? Here's a video to help you complete the assembly yourself.

- Tools : Cutting pliers | Allen wrench set | Torque wrench | Grease (and specific mounting paste for carbon frames)
Steps
- Unpack the bike, then cut the packaging clamps, taking care not to damage the paintwork and hoses
- Grease the inside of the seat tube, then install the seat and seatpost assembly in the frame.
Probikeshop tip: on a carbon frame, use assembly paste and not grease for this step.
- Mount the wheel grease the axle.
- Mount the cockpit on the stem.
- Grease the threads of the pedals then fit them, making sure each is fitted in the right direction.
Probikeshop tip: After one or two rides, your bike will "settle in", so check all tightenings to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Your bike is now assembled. All you need to do now is adjust your position.
