How to fit a mountain bike saddle clamp?

There's nothing simpler than fitting a MTB saddle clamp ! Here's how.

  • Time: 10 min
  • Level : Easy
  • Tools : Allen key set or torque wrench (for screw tightening only)

Steps

  1. Place the clamp on your ATV frame.
    Probikeshop tip Tip: You may want to lightly grease the bearing surface so that it snaps into place when tightened.
  2. For a quick-release model, turn the lever far enough so that the seatpost and then fold it towards the seat tube.
    Probikeshop tip Don't over-tighten, as this could damage the material.
  3. For a screw-type model, tighten to the torque specified by the manufacturer.
