How to fit your MTB seat clamp?
Nothing is simpler than fitting an MTB seat clamp! Here's how to do it.
- Time: 10 min

- Tools: Allen key set or torque wrench (for bolt tightening only)
Steps
- Place the clamp on your MTB frame.
Probikeshop Tip: you can lightly grease the contact surface so that it seats properly when tightened.
- For a quick-release model, turn the lever sufficiently so that the seatpost does not move and then fold it back towards the seat tube.
Probikeshop Tip: there is no need to overtighten, as you risk damaging the equipment.
- For a bolt model, tighten to the torque specified by the manufacturer.
