How to assemble a complete mountain bike?

Your new MOUNTAIN BIKE has just been delivered and you can't wait to ride it?
Here's a video to help you do it yourself.

• Tools : Cutting pliers | Allen wrench set | Torque wrench | Grease (and specific assembly paste for carbon frames) | 15 mm pedal wrench

Steps

1. Unpack the bike then cut the packaging clamps, taking care not to damage the paintwork and hoses.
   
   
2. Grease the inside of the seat tube, then fit the saddle/seatpost assembly into the seat tube. MTB frame.
   Probikeshop tip: on a carbon frame, use specific assembly paste (not grease) for this step.
   
   
3. Fit the front wheel, greasing the axle beforehand.
   
   
4. Mount the cockpit on the MTB stem.
   
   
5. Grease the pedal axle threads, then fit the pedals, paying attention to the direction in which each is fitted.
   Probikeshop tip: after one or two rides, your bike will "settle in", so check all tightenings to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Your bike is now assembled. All you need to do now is adjust your position.
