Description

The TANNUS ARMOUR anti-pinch foam insert is an optimal protection against punctures, tears and pinch flats, with a fitting for inner tube and hybrid, gravel or cyclocross tyres of 700 x 35-40c.

This model features the patented Aither technology, a lightweight polymer foam made up of millions of bubbles to absorb shocks and vibrations. It offers very good tyre support even at low pressure, ideal against lateral deformation for good grip and traction. It reduces the risk of pinch flats on heavy impacts and also has low rolling resistance

"I've been using these for my bike commute for a very long time, and I haven't had a single flat tire! Yet I've removed plenty of objects from the tires that would have definitely caused a flat! Be careful not to overinflate them—it ends up crushing the foam and cutting its thickness in half. It’s best to keep the pressure around 3–3.5 bars; that’s more than enough."
