Straps aren't for everyone, so Assos has found a solution for optimum support. A waistband with elastic band allows the shorts to fit perfectly without compressing the lower abdomen. An independent fishnet band provides even greater comfort and helps regulate perspiration.

The RegularFit cut represents the best compromise between comfort and performance: more curved than ComfortFit shorts, it applies a light level of muscular compression.

It features the anatomically-cut UMA GT C2 insert and its triple-layer, perforated 9 mm memory foam, which is divided into two parts to reduce the risk of irritation and stabilize the seat. Its breathable honeycomb surface allows it to dry quickly, while it also benefits from patented Golden Gate technology: on the sides, the insert is not sewn to the fabric, so that it always accompanies the cyclist's pedaling movement, and remains flat against the seat.

On the front of the insert, kraterCooler technology with small cells ensures greater ventilation for the most sensitive areas. Finally, a 3D Waffle triple-layer perforated foam adds extra comfort and breathability.

On the textile side, Type.429 fabric is 4-way stretch for total freedom of movement. This comfortable fabric is also slightly compressive. Like all ASSOS cycling shorts, it is anti-bacterial, anti-odour and highly breathable.

A 4.5cm elastane band is also present on the lower thighs for a soft, comfortable fit.

In this Short version, the thigh length is 5 cm shorter than in the strapless version.
