Effective braking but very short life

"Mounted on a VTTAE (Trek powerfly FS7), they showed excellent braking, easy to dose and progressive, but with a very short service life (approx. 500 km). A lot of mountain riding with big changes in altitude and steep downhill slopes may explain this wear ... as fast as ordinary, cheaper pads that brake just as well. So a bit disappointed, I was expecting better longevity considering the price."
