The CAMPAGNOLO BORA WTO 45 DARK LABEL Rear Wheel was developed in a wind tunnel, the acronym WTO standing for Wind Tunnel Optimized. This extensive research made it possible to create a versatile wheelset with breathtaking manoeuvrability and aerodynamics! In this Dark Label version, the rim is dressed with black stickers, for a sleek and refined look.
On flat or hilly terrain, the Bora WTO 45 is the obvious choice. The carbon rim design allows an extremely manoeuvrable ride, while guaranteeing better air penetration. The 2-Way Fit profile allows fitting either clincher or tubeless tyres. Whether in 23, 25 or 28 mm, they integrate with the 19 mm internal width rim for an ultra-cohesive ensemble. The one-piece hub also features a tapered profile to optimise airflow and minimise drag.
Inside the hub, USB™ ceramic bearings (Ultra Smooth Bearings) reduce friction and therefore energy loss. In addition to smoother rolling, these components further reduce the weight of the wheel.
The rim is entirely made of carbon and boasts incredible lateral stiffness. It is also fitted with a new AC3 braking surface that improves brake pad effectiveness in wet conditions. Rigidity is further optimised through the use of a G3 rear spoke pattern that is more efficient and eliminates vibrations.
