SHOT FURIOUS Dust Gold Matt BMX Helmet

The Shot Furious full-face helmet is the entry-level model from the French brand. An important point before ordering: it is ECE 22.06 approved, meaning the motorcycle standard, and not the bicycle standard EN 1078. Many BMX Race and downhill riders use a motorcycle-approved off-road helmet for the extra protection it provides, but this is a choice to make with full awareness — check the requirements of your club or event organiser before competing.

The polycarbonate SRS shell (Synthetic Reinforced Shell) comes in 2 shell sizes and 2 EPS densities: the fit is more precise than with a single shell compensated by thicker foam. The peak is mounted on shear screws — they break away on impact to limit rotational energy transfer to the neck. The chin guard features a "Shock-Absorber" insert and dedicated ventilation to reduce goggle fogging.

Ventilation with 9 front intake vents and 7 rear exhaust vents. The Morpho-Conforming interior is fully removable and washable, made from ventilated hypoallergenic fabric, and the helmet is suitable for spectacle wearers. Double-D ring closure, high-resistance polyurethane varnish finish, weight 1300 g ± 50 g. To position it in the range: the Furious uses the architecture of the Race model, but without the MIPS system, rear diffuser, Quick Dry interior or Quick Release system. The Dust design in matt gold is the boldest finish in the range.
