"Installed in a 11/42 configuration on a bike converted into an electric touring bike (with a rather large 46-tooth single chainring) equipped with a SRAM X9 derailleur with a medium cage; it fits just barely without any modifications, but it works. The B screw is tightened all the way. For adjustment (and much like on the Eagle range), the derailleur hanger must be perfectly aligned to achieve proper derailleur adjustment. Otherwise, it’s perfect; shifting is fast and smooth both uphill and downhill. The gear spacing seems well-balanced to me. In my case, it lets me maintain top speed on flat terrain while still tackling steep climbs without draining the battery too much (and thus preserving range), even when loaded up on the rack. Visually, it looks great and doesn’t seem much heavier than the SRAM 11/34 it replaces. My only complaint would be the plastic spacer provided, but that’s just nitpicking. It remains to be seen how long it will last (likely shortened due to the electric motor pulling hard)... but in the meantime, I have no complaints about this product. It seems like a good compromise in every respect."
