"I bought this kit to give my 2018 Fox DHX2 shock a new lease on life. Everything is included—and even more, since some parts come with extra seals. So I’m satisfied with this maintenance kit, and price-wise, it was even cheaper than on other competing sites. Note: if you want to do the maintenance yourself, it’s not complicated, but you’ll also need to have oil, a vise, and if possible, plastic or aluminum jaws, as well as a syringe with screw-on tips. At first, it adds up to a small expense, especially since Fox Red oil is very expensive; RSP is a good alternative. If you take it slow, it’s not complicated—when unscrewing to open the shock with pliers, be careful because it slips easily and can scratch the part. Test it without the spring; if the piston rod is hard to retract or makes strange noises, don’t hesitate to perform maintenance. In my case, the blue bushing was shot and completely warped."
