Description

Designed for cross-country riding on dry to loose terrain, the CONTINENTAL Cross King 26x2.00 ShieldWall tire is compatible with Tubeless Ready mounting.

Its versatile profile offers excellent performance and grip. Very grippy in curves, it offers a comfortable feel on a wide variety of terrains. 

It uses silica-based PureGrip rubber, offering excellent grip and endurance. This tire is built with a 2-ply carcass on the sidewalls (120 tpi) and a 3-ply under the tread (180 tpi). The sidewalls are reinforced against cuts by the honeycomb lining of the ShieldWall system.

"This tire has good grip, but I find it a bit fragile: I've had quite a few punctures due to thorns in the tread (fortunately, I'm tubeless and the liquid plugged the punctures). But then, the 19€ version can't be as solid as the 50€ version."
