CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 650b TubeType Black Tyre

The CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 650b TubeType Folding Tyre is the successor to the highly regarded Grand Prix 4000S II. The German brand has designed a product suitable for both training and racing, on dry or wet roads.

Made up of three layers, the Grand Prix 5000 is designed to combine performance, grip and durability without forgetting comfort. For exceptional road holding, the tyre is designed with Lazer Grip technology. This set of small structures on the side of the tyre provides maximum grip even when leaning on a wet road. For optimal performance, Continental has reworked its Black Chili technology. 

In terms of comfort and puncture resistance, the GP 5000 uses Active Comfort, which absorbs vibrations, and the Vectran Breaker, which is made with synthetic fibres, making the tyre highly resistant to punctures with controlled weight.
