Its center tread makes it easy to ride quietly on city roads, and its side profile helps it maintain grip when the bike bends on country lanes. Its sturdy sidewalls protect it from punctures, so you can ride with complete peace of mind.
It uses silica-based PureGrip rubber, which offers excellent grip and endurance. In terms of performance, it ranks just behind the BlackChili compound. This tire is built with a 3-ply carcass (180 tpi) and sidewalls reinforced against cuts by the honeycomb lining of the ShieldWall system. The flexible bead wires are made of aramid.

"Acheter pour remplacer des Hutchinson python 2 sur le vtt de mon fils qui fait surtout des trajet sur route et piste cyclable pour ses déplacements quotidiens. A première vue, la bande de roulement est parfaite pour le bitume (pas d'accroche excessive et bonne résistance à l'usure) et les crampons plus grand sur les côtés apportent une bonne adhérence en virage ainsi qu'en forêt sur chemin plus gras. Je recommande pour un usage quotidien ville et chemin."
