Description

Handcrafted in Germany especially for Gravel and adventure, the CONTINENTAL Terra Speed 700x35c tire is robust, fast and efficient on all types of terrain.

Designed around a 240 TPI carcass (4-ply 60 TPI) under the tread and 180 TPI (3x60) in the sidewalls, the Terra Speed also features the top-of-the-range Black Chili rubber for exceptional grip and maximum speed.

This model also incorporates a protective layer that greatly reduces the risk of cuts and punctures (even at low pressure) and adds very little weight. Another strong point of this product is that it can be mounted tubeless, thanks to the latest technology. Tubeless Ready, technology, further reducing the risk of punctures.

A history of compromise

"More rolling and very comfortable tire but fragile to puncture , too bad ."

Thierryworld (4/5)

Tubeless pressure loss

"I bought a pair of these tires, but in 650b format, for tubeless mounting. They snap easily on DT Swiss 1800s. Very good grip on dry and slightly greasy terrain. No problems with the front tire. Unfortunately, the rear tire needs to be inflated once a day. There's a leak on the sidewall, under the letter C on the logo. I moved the tire on the rim to eliminate the possibility of a rim (bottom) defect, but the leak occurs in the same place on the tire. I've tested Joe's preventive as well as Stan's, with the same result. It's a bit of a shame for a tire at this price and I can see I wouldn't be the only one."

Adrien75 (3/5)

Versatile

"Very versatile tire. Rolls well on the road and grips well in the dirt. Just one disappointment: the cross-section is actually 33 mm (on my road wheelset). As a result, the tire is high and if I'm on low pressure, in corners I get the impression that my wheels are slipping. But probably my rims are too narrow."

Colletmat (4/5)

Very good tire

"Rolling, grippy tire. However, it wears out quickly - downside?"

Cyfadelusa (5/5)

Mitigated

"I don't know if I'm unlucky but after a week of daily use (i.e. 210km) I had 4 mini punctures"

Tomgazz (3/5)

The right compromise

"Great Gravel tire! Good grip on all terrains and a decent ride on the road."

Mich76 (5/5)

Good tire, poor durability

"Very good tire, performance, great grip in undergrowth. Nothing to say but after 6 months loss of pressure (tire immersed in a pool of mini bubbles regularly rise on the sidewall in different places), the tire has become porous. Completely deflated in 1 day and I lost 1 bar of pressure on a 2-hour ride".

Es31 (2/5)

Gravel tires

"Solid, reliable tires, but difficult to place on the rim. Tip: Brush tire blanks with silicone or grease".

Anonymous (4/5)

Sticks to the path, rolls on the road

"Easily mounted tire (without dismounting tire), I had no loss of grip uphill even when dancing. Not tried in wet conditions. Fairly good performance on the road. Very good for gravel."

Fran6co (5/5)

Top

"Good in every way! Excellent grip on trails, little rolling resistance on roads. Top gravel tire"
