Handmade in Germany specially for Gravel and adventure, the CONTINENTAL Terra Speed 700x40c tyre is robust, fast and high-performing on all types of terrain.
 
Built around a 240 TPI casing (4 layers of 60 TPI) under the tread and 180 TPI (3x60) at the sidewalls, the Terra Speed also features the premium Black Chili rubber compound, guaranteeing exceptional grip while allowing maximum rolling speed.

This model also integrates a protective layer that greatly reduces the risk of cuts and punctures (including at low pressure) while adding very little weight. Another key feature of this product is that it can be fitted without an inner tube thanks to Tubeless Ready technology, which further reduces the risk of punctures.

"I mounted the TerraSpeed TR40s instead on Campa Levante wheels. The tires are easy to mount and sit very well in the rim. I'm currently riding without a preventive and they hold the pressure super well. The feeling of performance is very good, even at low pressure. It's a great tire, I recommend it".
