The CUSHCORE PLUS anti-pinch foam insert is an innovative solution that is as reliable, durable and high-performing as it is quick and easy to install on your MTB equipped with + tyres
Designed to be used with a Tubeless Ready rim and tyre, this product allows you to ride at very low pressures — for optimal traction and grip — while maintaining an excellent level of efficiency and maximum puncture protection.
This foam provides total comfort by absorbing almost all shocks and considerably reducing vibrations, without altering the tyre's behaviour or efficiency. Reliability is also assured since this system, in addition to eliminating pinch flats, greatly reduces the risk of tyre burping.
Installing in just a few seconds, this foam occupies 50% of the tyre's volume and acts as a damper, while the remaining 50% of volume in the form of air acts as a spring, which you can adjust according to your weight, riding style and/or terrain. In short, a suspension system that doesn't advertise itself as one but delivers all the benefits, and will prove particularly effective for aggressive disciplines (Enduro, Freeride, DH).
As with a Tubeless Ready tyre, it is recommended to use sealant to prevent punctures from thorns and ensure a perfect seal.
