Designed for intense enduro riding or DH/freeride, theDT Swiss EX 1700 CLASSIC rear wheel combines durability, precision, and performance to tackle the most demanding terrain. Its asymmetrical welded aluminum rim offers an excellent balance between stiffness and durability, while optimizing the bike’s dynamic performance. Tubeless Ready compatible, it enhances grip and comfort on technical sections.
This wheel features the DT Swiss 350 hub equipped with the DEG 72 Ratchet system, ensuring rapid power transfer thanks to its 72 engagement points. This technology improves acceleration and provides a more direct response on technical and rough sections. DT Swiss DF technology reduces kickback by releasing chain tension directly into the freewheel. This lightweight, adjustable system improves the bike’s downhill handling, offering a smoother and more natural ride.
The wheel is built with DT Competition® Race spokes in a triple-cross lacing pattern, offering excellent resistance to stress while keeping weight in check. It’s designed for intensive use in bike parks, enduro, or demanding all-mountain riding.
Compatible with multiple axle and freehub standards, the EX 1700 CLASSIC is also E-Bike Ready certified for up to 250 W. Its 30 mm internal profile optimizes support for wide tires, providing better stability and greater control on descents.
