The Pro Lock® process is a patented two-component liquid adhesive which is injected onto the nut thread, enabling extremely reliable wheel mounting. As soon as the nuts are tightened, the two-component adhesive begins to react, and is completely dry after 6-7 hours. The wheel can be fully exposed several times, but the adhesive effect diminishes with each operation.

Top-quality bearing technology is installed in all DT Swiss 1400 wheels. Cyclists benefit from low rolling resistance and extended durability.

This wheel is compatible with tubeless technology. Tubeless tires offer many advantages over the traditional tube/tire combination: the tire can be less inflated, without the risk of pinching, providing better grip and increased riding comfort.
