Description
The DT SWISS Ratchet Road freehub body will allow you to fit your Swiss brand rear wheel with an 11-speed cassette of the Shimano/Sram type in 9 mm QR.
It benefits from Ratchet technology, a patented freehub system with high-precision ratchet rings guaranteeing maximum stress resistance and reliability. Furthermore, thanks to the "no tool" concept, it is very simple and quick to maintain.
With every pedal stroke, the teeth of the two rings mesh perfectly at the same time. Unlike the pawl system where the hub contact surface is relatively small, here each tooth engages with its full surface against the opposing tooth, creating significantly lower point loads. The result: the legendary reliability of Ratchet System hubs and the unmistakable sound of their ratchet rings!
