Why measure my chain at 0.5% or 0.75%? At 0.5%, we recommend changing the chain on 11-13 speed drivetrains to avoid wearing out the cassette. At 0.75%, wear is such that the sprockets on your cassette start to wear prematurely.
Is it compatible with E-Bike chains? Absolutely. E-bikes wear chains much more quickly because of the higher engine torque, so the Double Checker is even more useful for these models.
