"Le fameux cône de fourche,inutile quand la fourche intègre dans sa fabrication une partie conique. Sinon c'est indispensable. Ici dans une configuration fendue. (plus besoin d'emmanche cône). Le cône sert a tenir la partie inférieure du roulement au bas du pivot. Le roulement repose sur le cône et non plus sur le pivot. 1/ une étanchéité supérieure 2/ une protection accrue de la partie inférieure du roulement."
