The FOX PODIUM FACTORY 29" Grip X2 fork redefines the standards of single-crown forks. Designed to be ridden like a downhill fork, it delivers absolute confidence, even in the fastest sections or most committed jumps. Thanks to its innovative design, it retains familiar travel and geometry while offering stiffness and performance worthy of double-crown models.
The absence of a crown on an inverted fork has historically posed a rigidity challenge. FOX addresses this with an oversized steel Boost DH axle (20 x 110 mm), guaranteeing optimal torsional stiffness. This technical choice was validated through extensive blind testing by FOX engineers and athletes.
The GlideCore pneumatic spring reduces friction by dynamically adapting to loads. Thanks to large-diameter nitrile bushings, it controls lateral and axial movements, ensuring smoother suspension action and reducing fatigue on long descents.
The award-winning GRIP X2 damper is custom-tuned here. It offers greater compression support to compensate for the chassis's low friction. The result: the rider sits higher in the travel, gains traction in corners and conserves energy for longer. With its oversized 47 mm stanchions, 36mm lowers with Kashima Coat finish and reinforced crown, the FOX Podium approaches the stiffness of a FOX 40. It is a fork designed to push the limits, while retaining the manoeuvrability of a single-crown chassis.
