The MAVIC COSMIC ULTIMATE 45 front wheel lives up to its name: "Ultimate" is synonymous with absolute excellence. Developed to deliver the best in performance, it combines extreme lightness, stiffness and aerodynamics in a package weighing just 1260 g (the pair). Compatible with tubeless and clincher tyres as well as disc brakes, it is aimed at the most demanding cyclists in search of speed, reliability and unique sensations.

Its carbon rim, featuring a 45 mm NACA profile and an external width of 32 mm, combines aerodynamic efficiency and stability. Thanks to a complex assembly process, the weight-to-stiffness ratio is optimised, while the Adaptative Lay Up layer stacking provides a weight saving of 70 g. Undrilled, the rim requires no rim tape for airtightness, thus ensuring simple and hassle-free tubeless use.

The UST Tubeless system and the 23 mm internal width simplify the installation of wide tubeless tyres from 700x28 upwards, offering more comfort and handling while reducing friction and the risk of punctures.

On the spoke side, the R2R (rim-to-rim) technology makes all the difference. The 20 elliptical spokes made from unidirectional carbon fibres are continuous, passing through the hubs to form a one-piece structure. This design considerably increases stiffness, improves aerodynamics and eliminates the weak points associated with traditional fixings.

The carbon hub integrates ceramic bearings for smooth and durable operation, delivering Premium performance. Designed for 12x100 mm thru-axles and Center Lock disc brakes, this wheel fits perfectly on modern bikes.
