Description

Incredibly powerful and packed with intelligent features, the GARMIN Varia UT800 is a concentrate of technology. Combined with an Edge meter featuring a brightness sensor, this ultra-compact, lightweight light provides exceptional comfort and maximum safety.

In addition to 800 lumens (in bright mode) for powerful illumination, the Varia UT800 automatically adjusts the intensity of its beam according to your speed and the profile of the bike route. As a result, brightness increases when you pedal faster, and you save battery power when you slow down. It also adapts to ambient light and battery level, so you can extend your ride. You can also turn the light on and off, adjust the brightness and much more simply by pressing your Edge meter or the dedicated remote control (not supplied).
To adapt to any situation, the Varia UT800 offers five modes brightness modes: high brightness (800 lumens), medium brightness (400 lumens), low brightness (200 lumens), night flash (100 to 300 lumens) and day flash (over 700 lumens). In daylight, your beacon can be seen from over 1.5 km away.

However, the clip lacks an anti-rotation washer to prevent it from tipping too easily when vibrating. You really need to tighten the fixing screw. On my road bike, it won't be a problem."
