TheGARMIN VARIA REARVUE 820 Rear Light combines maximum visibility and active safety thanks to a new-generation rear radar. Featuring VARIA™ radar technology, it detects approaching vehicles up to 175 meters away with an enlarged field of vision, offering more reliable and accurate alerts, even when vehicles are traveling at the same speed.
Its ultra-powerful taillight ensures visibility of up to 2 km, enhancing safety both day and night. The intelligent brake light function clearly signals slowing or stopping phases with a specific light pattern, improving understanding by other road users and reducing the risk of collision.
Advanced vehicle tracking identifies the size of approaching vehicles and detects lane changes, with the threat level clearly indicated. Visual, audible or haptic alerts can be accessed via compatible Edge® bike computers, the Varia™ app or selected Garmin connected watches, for continuous information without distraction.
Compact and elegant, the GARMIN VARIA REARVUE 820 offers several lighting modes, including day flash, night flash, continuous and peloton, customizable via the dedicated app. Its battery life reaches up to 24 hours in day flash mode, and its redesigned seatpost mount guarantees discreet integration on most road and gravel bikes.
