The Tyrant Mips from GIRO is a helmet helmet that benefits from countless technological advances, including Wind Tunnel ventilation and the evolution of the first Mips protective membrane, MIPS Spherical. Now, instead of the characteristic Mips membrane (made of yellow plastic), 2 layers of EPS foam of different densities are used: linked together by elastomer fasteners, they move very slightly independently of each other, in rotation, in the event of oblique impacts. The helmet's structure, based on an In-Mold design (polycarbonate outer shell / EPS and EPP liner), is extremely robust, thanks in particular to the combination, called Progressive Layering™, of EPS foam that handles high-speed impacts and lower-density EPP foam that deals with the most common shocks, often unfolding at low speeds. What's more, the Roc Loc® Air DH adjustment system ensures a perfect fit and maximum stability.

Comfort is also on the agenda, with 14 ventilation tunnels ensuring excellent aeration throughout the effort. In particular, there are ducts in the forehead area to evacuate excess heat and help eliminate mask fogging. What's more, Tyrant features hydrophilic foams capable of absorbing up to ten times their weight in water, for highly effective absorption of perspiration and to keep you cool at all times.

The helmet is finished to the highest standards, optimized for storing a mask under the visor, which can be used without tools, and features an extra set of foam for a perfect fit on your head.
