POC TECTAL RACE MIPS MTB Helmet White/Black

The POC Tectal Race Mips helmet has all the qualities to satisfy demanding MTB riders who are regular All Mountain/Enduro competitors. It takes the very wrap-around Jet design of the standard Tectal, adding the Mips protection system.

This Mips Integra technology, which will protect your brain in the event of a fall causing a rotational force on your helmet, without affecting comfort. The aim is to limit the transmission of impact forces to the brain, to guard against the risk of concussion.

Very safe, this helmet is built around a monocoque shell combining a polycarbonate outer shell and a layer of expanded polystyrene that effectively absorbs impacts. The shell is reinforced by an internal network of aramid fibres, improving both its level of protection and its durability. It also integrates the Recco® reflector, which works without a battery and reflects signals emitted by the detector of the same name, used by rescue services to locate people lost in the mountains.

The Tectal Race helmet also promises maximum comfort during racing: it features 18 oversized vents, the design of which was refined in a wind tunnel to optimise the level of ventilation.
