The POC Tectal Race Mips helmet has all the qualities to satisfy riders MTB All Mountain/Enduro competition riders. It takes the wrap-around Jet design of the standard Tectal and adds the Mips protection system.

This Mips Integra technology will protect your brain in the event of a fall causing rotational force on your helmet, without affecting comfort. The aim is to limit the transmission of impact forces to the brain, to guard against the risk of concussion.

Highly reassuring, this helmet is built around a monocoque combining a polycarbonate outer shell and a layer of expanded polystyrene for effective shock absorption. The shell is reinforced by an internal network of aramid fibers, enhancing both protection and durability. It also incorporates the Recco® reflector, which operates without a battery and reflects the waves emitted by the detector of the same name, used by rescuers to locate lost persons in the mountains.

The Tectal Race helmet also promises maximum comfort on the run: it features 18 oversized openings, designed in a wind tunnel to optimize ventilation levels.
Other advantages of the POC Tectal Race Mips helmet include a practical thumbwheel adjustment system, an adjustable visor, reflective details and an integrated attachment for your mask's elastic band.
