It features a 6061-T6 aluminum rim developed and manufactured by HOPE at its Barnoldswick factory in England. Developed for disciplines where strength and grip are the watchwords, their wide profile and triple-cavity construction offer increased support without excess weight, and let the tire express itself fully.
The Fortus features the highly popular Pro5 hub, with its unique reliability and resonance. Light and strong thanks to its aluminum structure, it features smooth, reliable stainless steel bearings and a freewheel body with 6 pawls and 108 engagement points for robust contact. All this is linked by Sapim double-butted spokes for excellent performance in the field.
