Description
The HOPE TECH 4 EVO TR4 brake represents the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 master cylinder. Entirely machined from a 2014 T6 aluminum block, it features a high-precision design offering exceptional feel and perfectly controlled braking power. This top-of-the-range model is aimed at demanding riders looking for performance, reliability and customization for all-mountain or trail riding.
The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from major improvements: new piston, floating head, optimized cam, second guide ring and three new levers (optional) for precise, fluid control. The lever pivot rests on two ring bearings, ensuring constant, long-lasting response. Adjustment knobs make it easy to fine-tune the lever's attack and guard to the rider's preference.
TheTR4 caliper, also machined from a 2014 T6 aluminum block, adopts the Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm center distance). It incorporates four stainless steel and phenolic resin pistons - two 16 mm and two 17 mm - guaranteeing optimum power distribution and excellent heat resistance. The larger pistons increase the braking ratio by around 6.5% compared with the Tech 4 E4 braking system.
The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for racing and All Conditions (red) for maximum versatility. With its 14 color combinations, Matchmakers options and exclusive compatibility with DOT 4.0 or 5.0, the HOPE TECH 4 EVO TR4 embodies high-end braking perfection.
