The HOPE TECH 4 EVO X2 FM brake is the ultimate evolution of the iconic Tech 4 master cylinder, designed to deliver a perfect feel and total control of braking power. Machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, the TECH 4 EVO master cylinder features a new piston, an optimised floating head, a revised cam, a second guide ring and three new levers, ensuring precise and personalised control for every rider. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, delivering smooth and durable action, whilst the adjustment dials allow the bite point and lever reach to be set according to individual preferences.

The X2 calliper, to the Flat-Mount standard with a 34 mm bolt spacing, is machined as a single piece for increased rigidity and reduced weight. Its two 22 mm phenolic resin pistons (reference HBSP235) deliver power suited to light applications such as downcountry and XC, whilst maintaining excellent performance at high temperatures. This configuration provides precise modulation and control, ideal for long rides and varied terrain.

The aviation hose with a 5 mm diameter and 2 m length ensures easy and reliable installation. The brake is supplied with two types of pads: Racing (green) for maximum performance and All Conditions (red) for versatile use, making it easy to adapt to every riding style and trail conditions.
