The HUTCHINSON Kraken 29x2.30 Reinforced Tubeless Ready Folding tyre is an ultra-high-performance model intended solely for competitive Cross-Country on dry and mixed terrain.
The Kraken will delight riders craving rolling efficiency and responsiveness as well as aggressive, committed handling. Its tread has been designed to deliver optimal rolling efficiency, always in contact with the ground, while the progressive intermediate and lateral lugs provide security and come into their own on wide rims.
Built around a robust, lightweight 66 TPI casing that resists impacts, the Kraken features the RaceRipost XC rubber compound blend dedicated to pure performance, with a hard compound in the central section to guarantee high rolling efficiency, and a softer compound on the sides for good grip.
In this version, it also features the Reinforced reinforcement from bead to bead, providing highly effective protection against cuts, tears, punctures and heavy impacts. The Kraken is ideal as a front tyre.
